As we get closer to the holidays, you may be thinking what gifts to get for your loved ones this year. I know I wonder every year as I try not to repeat what I got last year. Can I find something new and exciting?
So here are a few options that maybe you haven't thought about. Currently I am offering coffee/tea mugs and cutting boards made with a few of my prints and photographs.
Take for example a coffee/tea mug. If the person you are shopping for is a coffee or tea lover, they have their favorite cup. I have my favorite cup but I like to switch up. The art mugs that I am offering are a universal and original gift due to the image. You won't find them in a big chain home goods store. So it becomes a bit of an unique gift that will make your loved ones happy. You can gift a mug to anybody who is allowed to drink water. Okay, I would not recommend these for little kids as objects like a coffee mug are not safe for them. So not only they are an original gift but one that is very useful. These coffee mugs make a great gift for those you have a hard time finding a gift for.
Another idea for a gift are cutting boards. These can be extremely useful for the holidays or any gathering. You can put cheese and fruits, vegetables, charcuterie, crackers, and breads with dips. You can put little pots with different types of olives. You can use them as a tray to set your napkins and utensils or set small appetizer cups on them. The choices are many. These cutting boards are versatile enough. Use your imagination to find other ways to use them.
The original artwork makes them an immediate center piece and a conversation starter. And you can still make them work with the rest of your service. My point is, it is a gift that won't disappoint even the occasional entertainer. When not in use, they become part of your home decor. An interesting fact for chefs would be that the garlic I used in the photographs came from my own garden.
Currently the cutting boards that I offer are rectangular and round and come in two sizes. They are made of tempered glass and are very sturdy but still handle with care. Happy Holidays!
